Hey Jim, I have no fish for the wishlist but a Gate would be cool, where the fish can swim through, and a piece of wood were great too

What size is the aquarium supposed to represent?

I don't know if this has been put on the wishlist cause I didn't read all 9 pages but what about a freshwater teacup stingray, depending on the size of the aquarium of course.

Ok, since fish can apparently be larger now, how bout an adolescent South American Redtail Catfish? Just old enough to get his red fins and white stripe.

A big aro and a big redtail- THAT's a freshwater ss.

The fish in the Aquarium are supposed to be 3"-4" in length.

Jim- I was basing this on the Emperor Angel in MA2. I know you have always made smaller fish or juveniles of larger ones. Is there any chance that Prolific would make bigger models for the Freshwater as they have with 2.0?

Cool Release Date & suggestion

Jim --

Is there an estimated time of arrival for the Freshwater Aquarium? a month? Mid 2003? next year?

BTW, I like the treasure chest! I think you should include those fish that clean the tank, like an algae eater. Would be nice to see there "belly" against the screen aka monitor. Wouldn't mind a turtle and a frog too!

Just my two cents!

-Cheers,
RJW

Algae eaters are planned.

interesting, if there are going to be algae eaters will there be algae for them to eat. That would be a neat idea that algae would slowlly grow on the sides of the tank, or even on the treasure chest and give the algae eater something to eat.

Algae, Algae Eaters, Turtles, Frogs, Fish all living in harmony. If Jim's past in any prediction of the future this should be amazing. Now just to wait for the release? Com'mon Jim a month, a year, 5 years? An approximation?

Quick Death,

Don't hold your breath. In the past severeal years, Jim has made it a policy not to give out release dates. There are just to many unexpected things that can stop you dead in your tracks, or even worse, make you throw out the past week's work and start over again. You might as well ask someone for the next 3 winning lottery numbers in a row.

There is no upside to estimating completion dates, only downside.

Well look at the bright side, we already have some nice fishies to enjoy until the other stuff gets done.

completion dates would just make people mad if there was a delay.

My favorites are discus (blue and/or red), green spotted scat, clown loach, paradise fish (macropodus opercularis), and spotted puffer.

Freshwater Fish Aquarium Wishlist

Thanks, Michael. I just discovered Serene Screen last night, and I'm hooked!! And thank you, Jim, for creating such an incredible program! I had an aquarium eons ago and it was always so sad when a favorite fish died.

Attached is a lovely discus. BTW, there was a fantastic store in San Francisco many years ago called Fairy Lake Discus Palace. That's all they sold. Window shopping there was really incredible.

I ran a salt water tank for years and I can relate to that, not to mention that this was a long time ago and some of the ones I lost were $150-200 ea. that didn't help matters any either.
