Argh, goldfish are ugly.
A baby Koi would be cool, so I can say I have a 1000$ fish in my computer |

A baby Koi would be cool, so I can say I have a 1000$ fish in my computer Whereas, the Japanese took Kois (and having a VERY DIFFERENT view of what looks human) went for beautiful markings on the back of the fish. I have grown to appreciate Goldfish, but don’t like these lionhead ones, they look like they have their brains on the outside, or have cancer or something. Goldfish are also about movement, keep in mind, they are the EXACT OPPISITE of evolution. They can’t find their own food, they can’t protect themselves, and they can't avoid a predator. They are picked SOLELY by their cute factor. They have a 100% symbiotic relationship with humans. Unfortunately our biggest market will be China, where they will steal the product. There are some subtle things I’m working on to lessen this.

Those fish make me lose my appetite. Maybe that's the goal?

I agree wholeheartedly with Michael and Morgan – And that was Schwartzenegger, right?
/Tiny Feret Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

While I agree that the "ODD" looking ones are an aquired taste, the goldfish collectors that would most likely buy the screensaver would want them in. If you think the others were ugly check this one out.

The process of natural selection must have been on a holiday for this one. I have no idea why a fish would have progressed to this stage. That has to be the silliest looking thing I have ever seen.

Oh my. Please tell me that was a unique fish – No one would want a fish like that, right? I'd wish for it to bet out out of it's misery...

Fantail Goldfish aren't all ugly, sure they're all plump, but not all ugly. I used to have some when I was younger. Here's a good example of a decent looking Fantail -

Now we're talking.
The Fantail and Comet Goldfish work for me. Don't be afraid of fish with insanely long fins. The new platform handles them well (trust me ).
