A kid on the inside

You have a point, but the kid in me never escaped and the blue gravel looks neat. Now of course in nature I have never ever seen blue gravel, it's not realistic, and I wonder how the fish feel about it

If memory serves, the blue gravel version of GA was meant as a special for the Multimedia Center version of Windows and is found nowhere else in the universe.

Add this to your list...

This device allows your little buddies to play music while they swim around.
It is awesome and always blows my guests away. i love just sitting for long periods letting it run. My little freckled Oranda loves his new hobby as a tenor!

Embarassed CuttleFish for Noob

hey folks I just Google SereneScreen for any updates and I was surprise to find that there is a community already.
Congrats!
I bought MA 2.0 since it was released...and yes I lost the serial number
LOL
Anyhoo, I see the long list of wishlist.
I'm not sure where my wish would fall under, but I saw Discovery Channel this Cuttlefish...that changes colors and hoovers around in school.
That would be a nice challenge to the developers.

Whatever the plans may be, I so looking forward to it.
I use mine at work, on my laptop, for stress relief.
And what a relief it is.

I see imitations out there ($19 at Walgreens) and it cannot compare.

Good luck on v3 and again, so looking forward to it.

Yep. Even Jim thought so. If I recall correctly Jim had that one in mind for schooling in MA2, but had to pull on the brake because of technical limitations back then. Hopefully it will make it into MA come 3.0.

If you decide to search for talk about it here on the forum, pretty much all discussion has been done using the alternative name "Bangai Cardinal".

Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

The Pinnatus is one that will probably be in a creature pack, if Jim can get the flow dynamics working properly for those long fins.

The two creatures I asked Jim to give consideration too long ago, was the Pinnatus, and a Zebra Moray eel. Both I had in a personal aquarium many years back. Jim's daughter got interested in the Pinnatus and threw in a good word for that one, so he agreed to give it a shot. The Eel I am still hopeful for, I think he said some time back that he would give that one a try for me. Incidentally the Zebra pictured on the wishlist photos page is actually the one I had from a photo taken of my aquarium.

Quick Robin! To the Batfish!

Putting that one first on the to-do-list sure sounds like a good way to further halt the development of MA3.x...

Can you say *difficult*?

Yes, the batfish is a challenge, mostly due to collision detection. It's a question of where "is" the fish? You can't use a single bounding box, because it would be huge. Maybe one for each fin tip and another for the central part of the body. If I solve that problem for eels, then I'll have solved it for everything.

JB - Yes, there's a whole thread devoted to MA3 somewhere around here. I'm working on it full-time. Well, as close to fulltime as my recent move to Oregon has allowed. And tomorrow I'll lose much of the day taking my ailing 2001 Volvo XC to Grant's Pass to be sold (hopefully).

There's about a 50/50 chance that I will have something to show by then. Things were going very well, but the sale of our home and move to Oregon really slowed things down. I now have to work in a little room, surrounded by boxes. It has taken a while just to get my main development machine up to speed, find all the pieces of the program, get connected to the Internet, wireless settings, etc.
I had a pretty good week - put in a large Elkhorn coral that forms a nice jagged contrast to all the soft, round shapes in the tank.
