I could find no mention of 1.1.2 at SereneScreen.com or at Order-N-Dev.com. I have received no e-mail about it.
I did check the distribution site and found it, so it must be a private beta release.

Yeah really? What is new about version 1.1.2?
If you d/l from serenescreen.com, you get version 1.1.2 for OSX. Versiontracker comfirms this recent update as of Sept 10. I haven't noticed any changes at all (and I'm looking real hard). Pref menu is the same, performance looks the same, no new fish.... maybe I'm expecting too much from a maintenance update? One thing's for sure, this new 1.1.2 version still doesn't fix the "oversight" on the OSX version's inability to remember the starfish's position especially when it finally makes its way up on the glass. When I disturb the screensaver -- bam! starfish is back on the bottom |

I was really hoping for a nice big fat juicy Mandarin Goby. I don't know how much longer I can wait! These mystery updates can really drive you crazy. What's different? I don't see a thing. Where's the Goby?

1.1.2 fixed a problem that we had with Jaguar for some people. The problem kept the localized strings from being correctly parsed so the "Please buy" message in the screen saver showed up as "Message".
If that third digit is all that changes then don't expect much other than something to keep the tech support calls down. If you aren't having any problems then you probably won't experience any benefit. If there is something of general benefit then I'll post it here. mrtew - I can't comment on Jim Sachs' priority list, but I hear he is pretty busy. starfish position not being remembered - we've had bigger fish to fry on OS 9, so we haven't gotten to that. It is very handy if you register and leave a way for us to contact you by e-mail or message through the site.
