Big Grin Problem at 1600x1200 resolution

Hi
I have a laptop Dell Latitude with a monitor resolution of 1600x1200.

In this resolution, the fishes are great, but the background is horrible.
The image seems to be stretched from a 800x600 image...
Why???

Sorry for my poor english

Regards
ciobo

Yes, the original size of the background image is 1024x786, if i remember correct. At those higher resolutions the image is noticable stretched. This problem should be solved with the new freshwater aquarium, i think there is planned a higher resolution.

To add a little more; the effect is worse on laptops and LCD screens, 1600x1200 looks great on my 21" CRT.
I don't watch commercials.

The background is 1024x768. Remember, when I came out with the Aquarium, all other 3D programs only used 640x480 for a background pic. The Freshwater tank uses 1600x1200 as a baseline resolution, though is does not really have a "background" picture. When the Marine Tank goes to a 3D background, I plan to increase the resolution also.

Jim, just out of curiousity, does the 2D background of the Marine Aquarium exist anywhere in a higher res, or did you do all the compositing work at 1024x768?
