4K and MA3
Hello, I have been running MA for years. Of course first on a computer, and then next on a 1080P display connected to an Alienware X51. MA ran gorgeously on a 47 inch monitor. Recently I swapped out my 1080P display for a 4K display. When I run MA 3 under 4K resolutions the background with the solid alternating colors has a "block" appearance kind of like logs stacked on top of each other horizontally through the entire aquarium. When I try to run a different screensaver from 3dplanesoft I also have display problems as well of a different nature. Is MA 3 designed or even compatible to display properly on 4K displays or are their some adjustments that may help.

I remember long ago that we had some of those problems before. Seems like it had to do with video drivers at the time. Before you dive into serious tweaking, you might check to see if you are set to 32 bit and change it to 16 and see what happens. try a few simple changes like that first and see what the results are.............
After that it was a matter of changing video drivers to see what worked better IIRC.

Michael's right, this type of thing has always turned out to be driver-related in the past. The Aquarium is designed to scale itself to any resolution. There are no limits built into the program.

When running in 4K it does seem to run more clearly when in 16 bit mode. I will experiment.

Any suggestions on what setting I should adjust first?
