Dual Monitor Support

Hi All.
I'm new here.

Can I ask the folks here how I can make the Aquarium screensaver work across a dual monitor display?

When my screen saver kicks in, only one screen is covered and the socons screen drops in the number of colors it's using (I use 32bit colour mode). Can the developers or users tell me how to make it appear on mobth screens or if the next version will support multiple monitors like the stnadard Microsoft screensavers?

Many thanks.

If you have an nVidia TwinView single video card with two VGA ports and are willing to change your desktop settings to a single spanned display, then you can run the Aquarium as pictured above.

It's funny whenever someone mentions the Microsoft screen savers because they:
  • Require DirectX 8
  • Cannot display a Settings panel on top of the screen saver, they must drop back to Windows
  • Aren't doing anything significantly difficult compared to the Aquarium
I've been hearing that we'll get a dual monitor Aquarium since August. One can hope...

Hi, thanks for the heads up on the other thread and the welcome. I have two seporate cards on my computer so I can't use the nVidia TwinView option, however, this SA is so good, it makes me want to go out and buy a twin port card just to see it running.

A big thank you to the developer. This is the best screen saver I have ever seen.
