Beta 11L discussion
With limited testing (what has been discussed recently), everything is working great for me.

11L is working fine for me also.
My normal 'unzip' program now works. The analog clock face is centred once more. FPS and CPU usage are steady. .... Looks like it maybe ready for a none-beta 3.1 ? .... Though Abbott & Costello will no doubt disagree... |

Wow, this board is becoming highly contentious.
I would say that thanks to the efforts of "Abbot & Costello", the Bozos of the world will enjoy MA just a little more. Meanwhile, on topic - I'll check out 11L later today. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

@ Jim -
Did you decide not to "gray out" the "Remove" box in the Music Playlist when CanonGuitar.sgt is the only item? Or will that be for 11m? I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

Very minor point:
in the Clock/Logo Playlist the Digital Clock/Calendar Options Font Color "picker" is just slightly off to the right and is not centered under each color. It looks to me like the "slider" is not centered in the box which might resolve the issue. Very minor, but, hopefully, we'll only find minor items now. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

Jim -
Perhaps for up and down arrows - raise and lower music volume within MA3.1? I have some music that is slightly lower in volume than others and this would allow volume alteration that does not affect the Windows overall level. Just a thought. As we have been repeatedly told, it's up to Jim to decide when it's 3.1.

The keyboeard-adjustable Sleep feature has always been a Beta testing tool, and was never intended to be included in a "final" version. I'm leaning toward making the up-down arrows a volume control. It's kind of nice to be able to quickly adjust the volume when you're on the phone, etc.

OK, I wasn't aware that it was just for testing.
So, the documented way to play with frame rate will be:

I view Frame Rate as a set-it-once-and-forget-it type of thing, whereas the volume is something that might be adjusted fairly often.

The question is how to visually compare different frame rates, in order to pick the most appropriate setting. I can do that easily with the arrow keys in 10d. I can't do that with 11L. I'm open to hearing from others who can explain why the "five-step" process is better for visually adjusting the performance. By the way - I'm not "hung up" on the up/down arrow keys. Those would be fine for volume control. Please just pick two other keys (for instance: page up and page down, or F8 and F9), and have them move the slider on the "frame rate". View it as to "facilitate testing". Leave it in the product. |

Hololo image - Yes, that's one of many gaps in the unbelieveably complicated Clam object. The point of zero-return has been reached on plugging every gap from every camera angle. Fixing one causes another from a different angle. If I start tearing into that again, there goes the rest of the year.
Gray out "Remove" - No. It would mean more of the dreaded text work. Right now, the code just says, "If the list is empty, put in the default title." Graying it out would mean code that says,"If there is only one item on the list, compare the ASCII pattern with the one we are currentlly using for the default music. If they are the same, then gray out the "Remove" button. If another item is added, activate the "Remove" button again...yada yada..." Messy and unnesessary. Center slider bar - I moved the right side very slightly. It's perfect on my machine, but Windows has ultimate control over that. Frame Rate adjustment - I don't want a keyboard way of doing this. To much chance for ugliness caused by little fingers (or paws).
