I've got the new website ready.

Wow, you can almost touch the anticipation here. Since I'm on Central European time, it's already Wednesday . All good things to those who wait, huh?

Tiny,

That's a good point. We keep telling people wednesday but for some it won't come until Thursday. Maybe that is what I should have been telling people.

Whenever the guys at Prolific wake up and get to work (not usually very early), they'll pull down the old site and put up the new one. The site could be down for several hours while this happens.

No offense Ralph, but you joined the forum about a month ago. All things come down to status eventually, and we've been here since January 2001. I carefully selected a pool of 16 beta testers who had a fairly wide range of hardware to test and who had been on the forum for several months.

That said, the 3,100 people who have signed up at my website over the last year, plus the 500 forum members here, have all been submitted to Prolific with the request that they be the first pool that are chosen. I have no idea if they will be able to go with this in whole or in part.

I do appreciate your presence here as well as anyone who answers questions, tries to help out in any way, or just adds thoughtful comments to the discussion.

And thanks to my participation in "that other thread" I expect that I'll be the last one to be notified.

Not only that, my copy of the aquarium will be the only one in which fish die... all of them.

My guess would be several more hours. Prolific is on Pacific time, 3 hours behind me, and its only 10:30 AM here. They probably have to get people in and get things changed over and so forth.

I sent a list of e-mail addresses of everyone on the forum, plus the 3,100 people who signed up on my website to Prolific in a Word document.

I don't know what they'll do with it.

Bob,

It's not about favorites, and I hope people don't see it that way. Your money is as green as everybody else's and I'm hoping the forum participants get upgraded first.

I selected beta testers who had been around a while and who had what we consider target hardware.

Prolific has called an 11 a.m. PST (practically the crack of dawn for people who work till midnight) meeting of all Aquarium-related employees, at which time the switchover will probably begin. Could take several hours, though.

Oh, and Bob - I assure you that your fish will live forever You did a great service to me and the Aquarium, and I appreciate it.
