The Screensaver Won't Allow My Monitor to "Sleep".
I recently bought a copy of Marine Aquarium 2. I would like to have the monitor turn off after awhile, but for some reason the screensaver won’t allow it to. I have “Disable Monitor Sleep Mode” unchecked, and if I check it, it does not fix it (I thought it might have been programmed in reverse by accident.) I am running Window XP Pro. Please advise.

I think the only solution is to install DirectX 9.

You've probably already thought of this, but just in case, have you checked the sleep settings in the control panel? I know I have my monitor settings set to never turn off. It doesn't matter what I choose in the screen saver settings.

Installing DirectX 9, as Morgan above said, would be the best solution.
