Re: screensave password working?
Under Windows 2000 and XP? Yes
Under Windows 95, 98, and ME? Not perfectly yet. Test it out and let us know your experience.

i'm running Win98SE.
i've checked the tick box! goes into screensave mode OK ,but doesn't prompt for the password, on the way out. i need a password to use the saver at work( i'll just have to wait... keep up the good work Mr Sachs. regards, GaRy) ps they love it at work. strange how people can't get their head round paying for software.... ' NICE, but you paid for that?' ...yep i did, money well spent i say! ))

Never had any trouble with it prompting for the password if the box is checked. Make sure you have told it what password to use.

I know whats wrong
Jim,
thanks for the reply... as i love the screensaver so much, i can't stand the accidental movement of the mouse interupting the show.... so i have the 'exit on mouse move' option unchecked. with the setup like this, the only way OUT of the saver is to press 'ESC', it must be this action that bypasses the password function. is there a way that you (Mr Sachs) can look at this (whenever) i tried the 'exit on mouse move' option checked, it works OK now(except for accidental interuptions) do you understand now, am i too picky? regards, GaRy ) ps tip - forget the butterfly idea, snails would be much better )

Re: I know whats wrong
You are right - password protection only works when Exit-on-MouseMove is used.
Some versions of Windows (especially WinME) send many false mouse signals. The next version of the Aquarium fixes the accidental exits by filtering these out. It will check to see if the x,y coordinates of the pointer have actually changed.
