sound hangup
The sound gets stuck in one place on the track when this happens the only way to fix it is to stop the program and restart it. At first i though it was the sound card so i changed it out.
the music cannot be turned off or changed to bubbles to stop it. windows xp pro 1024x768x32 service pack 3 dir x 9.0c sound card creative SB Audigy 2 [wdm] 19 inch gateway monitor readon 9800 pro video card intel pentium 4 3200 MHz 4 gig memory |

Is this when playing the default music?. When you say stuck, do you mean that it plays the same section over and over, or just sustains the same note?

I think this is not a bug after all ! I put another sound card in and then I redownloaded the drivers from creatives site then unstalled the drivers and then reinstalled the new drivers and it has been running for 24 hours with no problems. I am sorry for saying it was a bug when it was not.you can delete this whole thread if you won't to

No need for deleting it, just glad that it was a driver problem and not on Jim's end. Glad you got it solved.

We'll leave the thread. If someone else stumbles across it with the same problem, maybe we could establish a pattern.

So came down to a Creative Labs / Vista driver issue?
