So, if the only "cons" were that it is "CPU and video card intensive" (hmmmm?.....but it seems to run just fine on my old Celeron 700 system with a TNT2 card, at about 70fps in 800 x 600).....

....then why did they give it only 3 stars?

It's a 3D screensaver! Of COURSE it's going to require at least a LITTLE bit of 3D graphics card power, and CPU power. But you have that already anyway, in order to run XP in the first place....right??

This is still the old review from last August. The 3 stars question has been discussed heavily here in the Forum, but remains a mystery. They seemed to be under the impression that 32-bit color would gain something besides doubling the required video memory. I wrote them a message to set them straight, which they published under the review, but never answered.

It should have a 32bit version tho... What if someone with a good video card etc wants a 32bit version. U should have 2 versions of it... a 16bit versin and a 32bit version.

Because I have seen a test version of the Aquarium running in 32-bit and it doesn't look any better.

If you want to know why there isn't a DirectX 8 + 32 bit capable Aquarium, read here:
