Question about keys
I have purchased the various Aquarium products. I recently purchased a Mac Book Pro and was wondering if the keys that I purchased will work on a Mac installation, or will I need to purchase a new key for the products I wish to install on my Mac.
I know from a licensing standpoint, I am only supposed to install the screen savers on one machine, however, I was more wondering how the keys work. Thanks. |

Since the Mac Book Pro uses the Intel processor, you'll need Marine Aquarium 2.6, which is Intel native.
If you have a valid 2.6 license for Windows, I believe you can use the same key for the Mac.

Jim's (i.e. the author's) licensing standpoint is that you're perfectly allowed to install it on all your computers.
/Tiny Opportunity Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

Yes, the basic policy is one key per household, regardless of which type of computers you have. My intention was that the PC key would work on the Mac, but due to technical issues, this didn't seem to be possible. Send an email to Prolific Customer Support, and they should be able to get you a Mac key. If you have any trouble, send me a Private Message.

Thank you.
It looks like my Windows worked perfectly fine. I appreciate the quick responses that I received on this. I do have a question thats a little off topic. Will the 3.0 version of MA be compatible with Macs?
Thanks again. |

When I finish it, I'll turn it over to Jim O'Connor to do the Mac conversion. He was very quick with the previous versions, but this may give him a little more trouble because of some DirectX-specific techniques (the Mac version is OpenGL).
