Exclamation Marketing suggestion

I've been to various Mac news websites, and I still have not seen any mention of Marine Aquarium.

I would suggest notifying the following websites, they have sections for new software releases.

www.maccentral.com
www.macintouch.com
www.macfixit.com
www.macminute.com

And of course the Mac magazines:
MacWorld, MacAddict, MacHome.

You have such a great and unique program, more people should be made aware of it.

Just my 2 cents :-)

We were waiting for the Aquarium to come out of beta.

Prolific should be announcing on those pages any day now.

Angry

Now I found the article on the Mac version of Marine Aquarium
in "Mac People", a famous fortnightly magazine in Japan.

The many applaud Marine Aquarium even in the Aquazone2 Webforum in Japan.

The screen saver is awesome. I've had a reef tank for over ten years now and can attest this almost like the real thing. But I think the price of $21.95 for a screen saver is a bit high.

Maybe the actual screen saver application could be free with one fish, and every additional fish, coral, etc. would be additional I know I would like to have the Flame Hawkfish, and the Cuban hogfish. Additionally you could charge for dual monitor support.

Just an idea you might want to consider.

At one time, there were 2 versions of the Aquarium.

Basic for $10. It had 3 fish.
Deluxe for $20. It had 20 fish.

The Lionfish was initially going to be an extra fish.

Invariably, 97% of people who bought the Basic version upgraded to the Deluxe version within a few hours or days. Since each transaction on a credit card cost a couple of bucks, SereneScreen was losing a lot of money this way.

So Basic was eliminated, and the Lionfish became the 21st fish with the Aquarium now selling at $21.95.

Dual monitor support will be gratis.

$21.95 is the same price as all of the other 2D aquariums out there that I've seen.
