I think I found a bug...or two...
Here is something weird that happens to me in Windows XP, with the Aquarium.
I have two PCs, a WinXP and a Win2000 system, sharing the same keyboard, mouse, and monitor via an A/B switch box. This works great -- but the Aquarium doesn't seem to like it. If the Aquarium is running on my XP machine when I switch to the 2000 one -- then when I switch back to the XP machine again, two things happen: 1. I have keyboard control (and the monitor display), but no mouse anymore. The mouse pointer doesn't move, if it's displayed at all. Sometimes the mouse pointer isn't displayed on the screen at all. 2. The Aquarium (Fish) screensaver is no longer in the screensaver list. It uninstalled itself. Even a shutdown/reboot won't bring it back. I have to go into the c:\windows\system directory, right-click on fish.scr, and Install again. Very weird. I know this is probably hard to duplicate, what with a 2000 and XP machine sharing input and output devices with each other through a switch box, but I wonder if anyone else has seen this sort of thing. |
