Marine Aquarium - No Sound with ASUS Xonard D1 - Win7 64

Hey all, iīm facing very strange problem with Marine Aquarium 3.2 in Windows 7 64bit. I own a ASUS Xonar D1 Soundcard and do not get any Sound from the Screensaver. With my Onboard Sound itīs no problem and all previous Versions of MA worked quite fine with my Xonar.

I already deinstalled the drivers inclduing reboot and reinstallation of the latest drivers but it didnīt solve my problem.

I saw another one having similar problem with a ASUS Xonar D2X but there is no new firmware available for my card.

I never had any problems with my Soundcard - just Marine Aquarium 3.2 wonīt work.

Does anyone have an idea ?

That's a real mystery. There were no changes to any of the sound-related code in MA3.2.

I think you are the first to have a sound problem in 3.2. The link you gave was referring to 3.1. Anybody else out there having the same trouble?

With "all previous" i ment MA 2.0, 2.2 and 2.6.

3.1 does cause same problem

Just stating the obvious, but "M" turns the music on or off and "B" turns the bubble sound on or off, and there are volume controls within MA3 for both.

I had the same problem with my Asus Xonar D2X.
It found out it was the "D3D GX" or whatever setting on the driver causing it.
