Can I cycle all my fish

Hi I have 2.5 , can I cycle all my fish or just the chosen ones? Love the marine aquarium ..

Random circulates through all of them.

At one point there was discussion about being able to rank or choose certain fish that we want to be chosen at random or exclude certain fish from random, but it never became reality.
