Does this happen every time?

Can you do a couple of things for us:

1. Tell us about your system, What Windows version, Motherboard, anything you know.

2. Can you tell us if other DirectX applications have failed since the upgrade?

3. What driver version # do you have for the card?

4. Can you please run drwatson.exe, and then when it crashes let us know so we can get a look at the info it provides.

You can also give a detailed description to the techs at www.protonic.com

There are HUNDREDS of us geeks that work there, and more than likely one of them knows what ANY of those codes mean

BTW: Its a good place to go for ANY computer related question. And its free!

Have you tried nVidia driver version 23.11? They are on their website but NOT in the driver archive. Also, make sure that any drivers from the old video card are gone.
