Screen Saver and Vista
Hello One & All,
![]() OK, I have DL 2.6 and it is working OK, however, it does not show up as a Screen Saver option on the Screen Saver Menu/option choice. I am having to manually start the program, which kind of defeats the Screen Saver purpose, to a point. ![]() Can someone get me on the path to fix this issue.... My System: Vista Ultimate 64-Bit HP Pavillion Elite m9250f (Core 2 Quad, 4GB DDR2, 1TB Disk Storage Internal) NVIDIA 8600GT w/512MB VRAM HP w2207h HDMI Panel Logitech G15 Gamers Keyboard Logitech G5 Weighted Gamers Laser Mouse Western Digital 750GB External HD Thanks, ![]() Gunny |

It's the old 64-bit problem. I don't remember where the thread discussing this was, but someone will track it down for you.
For some reason, Microsoft decided to change the default folders for 64-bit Vista, and to name them exactly the opposite from what any sane person would expect.

Right click on the .scr file and select install. That should make it work as a screensaver in a 64 bit Vista.
