Everything is white!

I just got MA2 for Christmas. I tried to install it on my Compaq Presario 700 notebook (AMD Athlon 4, Windows XP) and all the fish (and everything else) are white. I tried installed DirectX 7.0 that came on the CD, but that didn't make any difference. Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you, feldon28! I was beginning to think my laptop was too old and I'd have to wait to use my MA when I got a new one. But, ctrl-T worked! Thanks a bunch!
