MA on a pretty (big) monitor

Well, this is cheating because it is my work monitor, not home, but I had not seen anyone yet comment on the MA running on a 30" Apple Cinema display (2560x1600 pixels). As you can see, it looks great, however, it will not run at much larger than 2000x1500 pixels, or else it crashes with an error "Could not create the Direct 3D Device object". So I can only show you windowed mode.

It is running on a Dell 4600 with an ATI FireGL X2 256 graphics card, about 200FPS. Lots of processor headroom waiting for the 3D background...

30" Cinema

Here is a screen capture of about 1/4 of the MA window (sorry, did not know how to attach two images to the previous post). The MA bitmaps get a bit pixellated - the background obviously so, but also apparent in the fish, some more than others. It's a great monitor for a showing a lot of data, but the high resolution is wasted a bit on the MA, which probably looks just as good on a 30" lower res LCD.

Imagine how it would look if you were running Marine Aquarium 2 MD (Multi-Display) version which supports 16:9.

Let's start by using all of your current monitor instead of 80% of it!
