Some are a necessity while the others can be left at Random:
Yellow Tang – Easily the best fish in the tank – and the first one created, I believe. Lionfish – for sheer difference Copperband Butterfly – Shiny in a natural way... /Tiny Trio Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

I always had no dupes on, but just turned it off. I've seen all the fish and sometimes two of one can ake the tank feel more varied.

I don't really like the random feature. I always seem to get the fish I don't really like.

Except for the lionfish, mine is on random with duplication allowed, it seem more realistic to me also. It's nice when you get the same fish twice but one will be smaller than the other. My goldfish is set the same, I keep automatic lights on also.
I like the surprise! |

Whaddaya mean one is smaller, Marian? Don't you mean when one of 'em is swimming further into the aquarium than the other?

It is obvious...
AFAIK, fishes have fixed sizes for each species, right?
It was previously discused here: https://www.feldoncentral.com/forums...&threadid=2334
