Major error after installation of SP2

I just installed Windows XP SP2 a couple days ago and I just noticed that both the v2.0 and v2.1 show a weird screen. It often freezes while exiting the screen saver.

This is what I see:

No No No, Not at all. I hit the wrong smilie. I ment that it was a new one because I haven't seen that one before.

Haha, yeah the smiley kinda threw it off. I searched and everything and no finds. So I felt like a dummie after the " " because I'm not a forum noob or anything.

It sounds like the screensaver is running in software mode. You may have to reinstall the drivers and DirectX.

I have the latest driver for my Nvidia card and I have DirectX 9.0c. I'll go ahead and reinstall both of those and tell you the results.

Alright, I re-installed my video card driver (Nvidia 61.77) and everything is back in working order. Running at constant 52 fps.

Some people don't write back telling us what caused the problem, once it's fixed.

Yeah, it always happens in these kind of cases. People will stop by and after they figure out the problem they are long gone.

I'll be sticking around though, anxious to hear about updates and to chit chat.
