Snow Leopard support

I'm working on Goldfish Aquarium 2.0 for Snow Leopard. I would expect to have something available in 10 days or so.

How much interest is there in this?

Definitely there is, but we are patiently waiting, just like we do for the Mac MA3 release from SereneScreen.

Hopefully there's more than 1 person interested.

Question Any ETA?

The screensaver only displays an error message after I upgraded to Snow Leopard with my 2.6 MA installation. Is there an ETA for MA 3.0 Mac or a patch to let 2.6 run?

Goldfish 2.0 for Snow Leopard is in process. MA 3.0 for Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard is waiting to be posted on the SereneScreen website. This requires a bit of work to the shopping cart, and modifying an existing and running e-commerce site is probably a bit hairy, so it may take a little bit longer.

Calling anyone who is a GA 2.0 user with Tiger, Leopard or (preferably) Snow Leopard who wants to test Goldfish Aquarium 2.

Leave me a private message with how to contact you via e-mail, your OS and a rough description of your computer.

I'm in for purchasing GA, when it's available. I D/L'ed the trial GA, and like it. Can't help you with testing, if that includes comparisons with a paid version.

Hi Rosenfritz,
GA 2 is already out. We just need to some people to run the Snow Leopard compatible builds as we get ready to put it on the market. If you're interested Private Message me.

Sorry, brand new users cannot send PMs. But I've promoted your access so you can. You can also e-mail through the order-n-dev.com website.

GA 2.0.2 with Snow Leopard support available

The updated version of Goldfish Aquarium for the Mac (2.0.2) is available for download from the LifeGlobe web site. This new version adds support for Snow Leopard. It also fixes a bug when launching the application with the display full screen on desktop option enabled.

The minimum supported OS version is now 10.4 (Tiger). It was 10.3.9 (Panther) for GA 2.0.1. Anyone still using Panther should just continue to use the 2.0.1 version, since none of the changes in 2.0.2 would be of any benefit on that system.
