Discus Poll

Ok, I have changed the poll option to 20, renumbered the photo's, and shrunk the photo size for faster loads. I had to delete and redo the poll, maybe it doesn't like having so many options. For anyone who had already voted, my apologies, please vote again.

hmmm 16 or 9 or maby 2 ... whould it be hard to skin a fish.... not a joke errr back to my point how hard is it to wrap a new imaga around the frame.

I don't like vertical stripes too much on a discus. I do like a mosaic and mottled look so I liked #1 and #4. I voted for #1 because it had better contrast with brighter blue.

Number 8 is the most beautiful, because he fades from bright yellow, thru orange, to deep red and then out into the characteristic discus blue all the way showing that beautiful high contrast pattern. I want that fish!

No offense to the people that voted, but I'm kind of wondering what the big deal is about #16. Its body is mostly gray, with just a bit of blue around the edges.

The LFS closest to where I live breeds discus by the hundreds. He has some amazing blue-toned, striped ones whose colors absolutely blow away the one in #16. My favorites have a green background shade, with variegated blue streaks in different shades, and maybe a touch of yellow around the head and edges. Just awesome. THAT is a texture I'd like to see. Unfortunately I can't take any pics of the fish (no camera I own right now would do a good enough job).
