A new version is going to be a surprise to a lot of folk..

I'm not actually part of the food chain any more, but Prolific has been working on a permanent fix to the 'Key not sticking' problem.

I'll ask Reichart today. In a bizarre twist of fate, he and his girlfriend are riding out the quarantine in my castle. It's still not finished and I don't live there yet, but I work on it every day. I got the geothermal heat running in December, so they are able to camp out fairly comfortably. At 7000 square feet, it's easy to maintain social distancing there.

This latest update does indeed contain the fix for the "Win 10 Key Code not sticking" problem.

Hi Jim,
Strange that nobody has replied since you confirmed this version does indeed fix (hopefully) the "Win 10 Key Code not sticking" issue. Anyhoo... it makes me wonder what is going on at Prolific and the Marine Aquarium? Why was there no follow-up from Edgar after posting a possible interim fix and asking for feedback, and why didn't anyone from Prolific post the new version or mention it in this forum, as they knew we have been waiting for a fix for a long time! Oh-well, wishing you well with both not getting the corona virus and the completion of your castle. |

Guessing that the users that had the problem fixed it themselves from information found on this forum. But.. you are certainly right about the lack of announcements..

Edgar and Josh each thought that the other one had posted an announcement.

And now.. where would we see this "announcement"? Looking at FAQ's in http://www.serenescreen.com/ there is no mention of any "fixes". The version # of the download copy is different 3.3.6369.0 vs my current copy 3.3.6341.0 but this not the kind of "checking" one would normally expect users to do.

There's an announcement about the new installer (that's where the Win 10 Key Code problem was) at SereneScreen.com : https://serenescreen.com/v2/about.html

Foolish me for looking in the FAQ instead of the About . But what's with the:
We've completely rebuilt our Windows installer to provide as seamless an experience possible, and improved compatibility with the latest version of Windows 10. Stay tuned as we've got some other updates coming in the next few months. A few is generally a couple (2?) so what, we are looking at June (ish) Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889 – 1951) The limits of my language are the limits of my mind. All I know is what I have words for. |

I don't know if Edgar or Will are working on anything new on the Windows version, but things could be happening over on the Apple side.

Hello, new here, so trying to figure things out, I do have a question, I just purchased SereneScreen Aquarium, and I've noticed that I don't have any options (in settings) for the eel, or the star fish to climb the tank, am I missing something?

The star fish doesn't climb the tank anymore. But it may again in the future.
