Discount for owners of PC version?
In the Welcome thread, I thought I saw an allusion to some discount for people who own the PC version? I just bought an iMac G5 (recent switcher) and was thrilled to see my favorite PC screensaver can follow me over to my new platform. I'm running the demo now, and was about to buy the full version when I noticed a post in this thread (thank god for multi-tasking!).
I can't find any indication on the main site... how do I purchase the full MA2(OSX) version and get a discount by supplying my serial from the PC version I purchased years ago? If it was a limited time offer I'll be sad, but will still buy it again. I love this program! -K |

Your PC Key Code doesn't work on your Mac?

The version question was to determine if you had a version 1.x keycode which you were trying to use in version 2. Version 2 is an upgrade that requires a new keycode (will not accept version 1.x keycodes). In your case, you have a version 2 keycode which should work fine.

I've always had a pretty liberal approach to this Key business, since I get very upset myself when forced to buy separate licenses when I install software on my many computers. I now have 3 copies of Quicken, though I can only use one at a time. Any company which can't survive by selling one license per household is doing something wrong.

Your liberal approach is much appreciated in this household. :-)
I really was quite prepared to purchase another copy for the second platform, however... MA is that good! |
