W7 & Betta Marine Just installed and all OK
I have just downloaded it and it looks excellent on my near new 24ins screen.
I originally had Marine aquarium 2.0 and I certainly missed it when I upgraded my computer and installed W7. Question/s How do I set it so that it will start after 10 minutes and go off after a set number of minutes and the screen goes black like the V2.0? Is the day night effect there? I like the added music I have a CD Guardians of Reef which I will be setting up, truly Aussie it has the Didgeridoo and it is very mysterious in the sounds. A few suggestions that would improve it in my opinion. I have seen the Barrier reef many times from above over and below. The water just looks too blue I have tried to darken it but this is not enough. At the moment it looks like a fish tank with a painted blue backing sorry. Could some sort of distance non moving reef be added and a few larger faded fish as if in the distance. With the cave is their a place the head of a moray could be put in so that it moves slowly side by side or opening and closing its large jaw. Flip |

Flip -
Set the MA3 screen saver to come on in 10 minutes in (right click on desktop) - "personalize", then at the bottom of the window click on "screen saver". In the "wait" space, change the time to 10 minutes. Then click "apply". Notice near the bottom left of the window the phrase "change power settings" - click this. then, in the new window along the left hand side, select "choose when to turn off the display". In the new window, change the time to "turn off the display" to 30 minutes. Also, make sure the time to shut down the PC is longer than 30 minutes. Choose "save changes", and close all the windows. That should do it for your first question. "Day/night" effect is not there, yet. But what is there, or here, is most excellent, don't you think? |

I am very happy with what is there otherwise I would not have bought it all. As you know there are many freebies out there but no where near it.
Thank you for the help I will try to adjust it later today. Its Coffee time now Flip |
