PluginDir Registry entry

Anyone know what PluginDir in the registry does for the Goldfish screensaver?

Obviously it's telling the screensaver where to look for plugins, but what plugins are there?

Marine Aquarium Logo (essentially Marine Aquarium Time 2.0 with 26 fish and you can put your own logos) uses this registry entry.

Maybe it was added for future use.

Not sure when MAL is coming out.

The plugin dir is used for several things. It was added a while ago to deal with out International language efforts. Did you know that Marine Aquarium has been translated into:
German
Italian
Spanish
French
Japanese
Dutch

Goldfish is making its way around the world as well, and sharks is on it's tail.

So other than language plugin's, will it be used in the future for anything? like 3rd party fish?

the Aquariums have different languages for the interface and fish selection.

3rd party fish in Goldfish Aquarium? I dunno. Marine Aquarium? I think "never again" is the word in that department.

Marine Aquarium Logo stores logos in the PluginDir.

No, I wouldn't expect an option for 3rd party fish at all... unless your the secret brother of Jim and can create amazing 3D fishies!
