Mac OS 8.6

Will Marine Aquarium 2.0 run on OS 8.6? How about with 2mb video memory?

Sorry. OS 9 is the bare minimum.

2mb of video memory?
Your video card must have OpenGL 3D acceleration. This limits it to 8MB cards/chipsets in Macs available in the last 3-4 years.

Last I checked (which was shortly before MA 2.0 shipped), it would run on my 7500 using Mac OS 8.6 and OpenGL 1.2.x (forget what the last digit was). It would only get between 1 and 2 frames per second (using software renderer, no OpenGL-accelerated driver/renderer available), which made it's appearance less than satisfactory (very slow, jerky movements; entirely unrealistic).

Having said that, the minimum requirements for the "Classic" version are Mac OS 9 and an OpenGL-accelerated video card with 8MB of VRAM.
