Sorry, but Jim doesn't give out release dates. "When it's done" is an often used expression around these parts.
Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Järvafält" as the latest addition – Go have a look and tell me what you think.

I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.'
I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.

I propose a new answer... "Sometime before or after Duke Nukem Forever."

Thoughts?

I'm sorry honey, you keep talking about this "Fresh Water Aquarium" but nothing seems to be happening. Is it forthcoming or not??? Whenever anyone asks you just say "not yet".
My advice (not that you've asked for it) would be to knock off the tweeking of the marine aquarium (it's already GREAT); and get the freshwater to us...................Your adoring fans.

I look at it like this: Jim's work is not just a program, it's true digital art. It took Da Vinci four years to paint the Mona Lisa, and he didn't have to deal with Microsoft. I think the end result is worth the wait.

Hey guys,

I have the marine aquarium screen saver which is nice but I have never had one (real marine aquarium). Only looked after a friend's while they were on vacation during summer school. The fish are prettier to look at than a fresh water aquarium in general but the behaviour is not as interesting as fresh water aquariums. Or maybe because I had for a long time a fresh water aquarium I recognize the behaviour of the fish and found it interesting. Some of those fish lived over 5 years after I got the hang of it. In the end, I kept a aquarium with only 3 types fresh water Amazon fish because the behaviour becomes so much more interesting the closer you get to their natural environment. Not only was it easy to look after, but it was pretty & the behaviour interesting. I would like to see in the aquarium:

a) This little catfish (I think coomonly called leopard catfish) Yellow Tang posted (interesting to watch scavening along the bottom, often in little schoals of 3 or 4 occasioning shooting to the top for gasps of air, 'sleep' in quiet areas in groups)

b) Cardinal (or Neon, I like Cardinal because they're abit bigger and more deeply colored) Tetra: form large schoals and dart back and forth like you'd expect a schoal of fish too.

c) Angelfish: Slow swimming in long weeded areas, sometimes pairs up with another, take an occasional cardinal or neon tetra by sucking the water (& the tetra with it) like a vacuum into its mouth.

The water was amber with tannic acids. It would be really cool to see a freshwater screensaver like this.

Best Regards

Angry Thanks

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I did notice that there are little to none of these trolls who seem to think their 'caustic wit' is going to lead somehow to their discovery by Hollywood and with that, they'll soon be their way to Easystreet.

Anyway great great product and a nice forum. If I could type I might drive you guys crazy. I'll spare you and drop in from time to time instead ;-)
