Wink how's some Sun rays for the upper part ?

Love the new version 3 even as beta
but was wondering if it's possible to get some
sun rays flicking to the upper part of the screen.

Like the ones in Windows 7 dreamscene?

Would make it even more realistic and cool to watch!
But still, I myself and my cat thanks you for this new version of MA3!

Changing every pixel of the background each frame is a tremendous resource-drain. As computers get more powerful, it's becoming more likely that I'll put in something like this. At the moment, we still get a lot of email from people who need to turn up the Sleep() number just to keep their CPU fan quiet. Moving the background would need at least double the clock-cycles that I'm currently using.

Jim, - PLEASE don't do it. Or at least provide an off-switch. - IMO it would NOT, "make it even more realistic".

In Dream Aquarium, to add added realism, the light-rays are the first thing I switch OFF!
