Display Colors won't change - app crashes

Odd behavior: when I try to set the Display colors to something different than the default, the setting window becomes unstable, vibrating and flashing and the mouse cursor becomes the rotating circle. If I've checked or unchecked one of the color option, as the application wobbles, the check mark appears then disappears then appears ... etc. If I adjust any of the RGB slider, they move around randomly as the application becomes more and more unstable.

Then the application crashes and I have to use the 3 finger salute to get Task Manager up to kill it.

When I restart the application, no changes have been made.
Here's my configuration:

To rule out graphics driver problems, maybe you could try temporarily disabling the nVidia card and running the graphics from the native Dell chips.
