Problem opening 2.6 after download

I have tried several times downloading the 2.6 demo. Once compleated, I get the error message "can not open the application-either not a supported file type, or because the file has been damaged" Might it work if I just purchased it to begin with, or might the same problem still exist? I have both sharks, and goldfish, which both work well---Thanks

and get that message?

Recent antivirus software has started treating all SCR (Windows Screen Saver) files as suspicious. This might be part of the problem.

Yes, the exe file is only 1.66mb--I also tried the 2.6dmg file which is 4.63mbs which seems more like the main file, with the same results... I did these both with my av programs disabled..Any suggestions?? Thanks
