Need some help with Logos

Love the new serenescreen 2.0 because its to real like, nice job making it. I am having a issue with putting my own LOGO on the rock. I use PSP and adobe and still cant get it to work. black and white, monochrome and I get the same error each time. Can someone help me out with the steps how to change the image on the rock to your own picture.

Thanks
Sticks

In Photoshop (7.0 and beyond), are you using Save For Web...? Are you saving as a PNG-24?

You don't want monochrome or black and white. You must create a 24-bit COLOR PNG. Even if the contents are black-and-white, the image must be stored in color. It must be exactly 256 x 256. And finally, if you want the image to be "cut out" on the crystal instead of a solid box, you must handle the transparency.

The Photoshop instructions are here:
https://www.feldoncentral.com/Sachs/malogo/guide/

Once you are done with this, you drag-and-drop the PNG file to your C:\Program Files\SereneScreen\Marine Aquarium Time 2\ folder.

If you want to use the "Import Logo" button in MAT, that is a whole different process. You would need to create a black-and-white BMP file. The graphic quality when you do this is very limited!

The PNG needs to be 256 x 256.

I used my own picture that I had on my computer for my logo

I don't have Photoshop, but I have Microsoft Office. I took a picture from my pictures folder and opened it in Microsoft Photo Editor.

Then, I changed the color image to monochrome with these steps:

1. On the File menu, click Properties.
2. In the Type Box, select Monochrome from the list.
3. Click Custom, select the Error Diffusion, and then click OK.
4. Save as a Windows Bitmap .bmp

************************************************** ********

Then:
1. Run Marine Aquarium Time 2 and press the spacebar on your keyboard to bring up the Settings menu.
2. Click the "Clock" tab.
3. Click the "Import Logo" button. A window will appear with the title "Open."
4. Navigate your files and locate the picture file you want to use as your Logo.
5. Click on the picture file and then click the "Open" button. Marine Aquairum Time will load the file to its memory.
6. Click the "OK" button to exit the Marine Aquarium Time 2 Settings menu. Your new Picture/Logo should now be displayed on the Crystal. If it is not, press the "C" key on your keyboard to cycle through the clock faces.
7. Use the "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys to adjust the Logo size.
8. Use the Ctrl+Arrow keys to adjust the Logo placement.

************************************************** ********
Also, can use Paint. Just SAVE AS: Monochrome Bitmap

- I hope this helps!

Need help!

Hi, I am new to this forum and I have never posted anything before. How do I post and send my logo?

It says in the logo creation guide that I can post my logo and ask someone to help me with it but I need to know how to post first!

It is probably right in front of me but I can’t see it.

Thanks for any help.

Regards,

Guy

It just picked up your formating and registered all your ": p"s as s... You can turn them off with the "Disable smilies in text" check box under "Miscellaneous Options" under "Additional Options" below.

Because of people posting spam in the past, we do not allow you to post a photo or image until you've been here for a while. You can always e-mail the logo directly to me at feldon (at) feldoncentral.com and I'll post it up here for you.

Try reading through this thread. Morgan and some others give great directions on how to make and import logos. Here's another helpful link: Marine Aquarium Time 2 logo creation guide

Smile can't get logos to work

I just bought the Aquarium 3-in-1 limited edition and was playing around with the logos. I downloaded a logo pack from https://www.feldoncentral.com/Sachs/malogo/ into my "Marine Aquarium 2.5, Goldfish Aquarium & Sharks, Terrors of the Deep Bundle" folder but nothing comes up. Am I missig a step?
