Four monitors - can't change resolution on any

I have 4 monitors -- 3-27" Asus monitors & 1-50" Samsung monitor. My Windows 10 display settings for the three smaller monitors is set to 1920x1080; but the Samsung is set to 3840x2160.

One 27" & the 50" are handled by one GeForce GTX980 card and the other two are handled by a second GeForce GTX980 card.

Obviously, I don't want my aquarium to run at 1920x1080 on the 50" monitor. So, under Settings, I customize all four monitors -- with the 50" set to the maximum you have available -- 2560x1440.

No matter how I try to change these settings, nothing sticks. I make the changes, click "OK", then click "OK" again to take me back to the Screen Saver Settings window. If I hit "Preview", I find that nothing has changed. When I open "Settings", I find that all four monitors have been switched back to "Automatic" (under "Display Mode").

Can anyone tell me why the program will not allow me to change the resolution?

Could be a Registry problem with Win 10. I'll check with Edgar.
