screen freeze
I have marine aq 2.0 with no problems in years. I have a P4 with XP pro, 1G of ram, 128 video ram, using allinwonder ati card. All of a sudden, I am finding the aquarium frozen and requiring restart to unfreeze. I have recently installed AVG antispyware which runs in the background. I can activate the screen saver after reboot and it runs normally, but sometime later, something makes it freeze. Any thoughts?

Have you changed any of the Aquarium settings? (Especially "Limit Frame Rate")
Has the fan on your video card expired? (The "Panthera Syndrome")

Hehehe yep! Be sure to check that your fan is working, mine died and caused a load of problems.. splotchy random lines, and when I upgraded the drivers the screensavers froze, became slow and choppy until I reinstalled dx9 (of course at the time I didn't know it was my fan.) Anywho, I bought a new video card and all is perfect again.
BTW, I too have AVG (free edition) - no problems here.

Thanks for the help. It appears that i unchecked frame limit as you suspected. I'm back to normal now.
