Help - MA3 starts with a 30 sec delay after the title screen!
For years, Marine Aquarium has worked very well for me, without any issue, ever. Suddenly, tonight, for the first time, it hangs for about thirty seconds on the title screen before the aquarium displays. Once it does display, it works normally. I tried shutting down the firewall and antivirus, I tried uninstalling and re-installing the aquarium several times, but none of these things make any difference. It still hangs for about 30 seconds on the title screen before the aquarium displays. What could be causing this?

13 seconds on my laptop. I think the latest Windows 10 upgrade has done strange things to a number of "programs".

Thanks for your reply Ralph. As a matter of fact, I loaded an image of Win 7 just to test the aquarium and it's still loading about 30 secs after the title screen.

No symptoms of that on my machines.

Whatever the reason was, it's now back to loading in about 12-13 seconds.
