Cool Marine Aquarium 3.0

I did some searching on the board and did not find any info, so here is my question. I ran across this on Amazon.com
Marine Aquarium 3.0
According to the site, Marine Aquarium 3.0 will be shipping in March. They are even letting people pre-order it. Any truth to this? And if so, what are the planned new features? 3D background? Also, just wanted to say hello to everyone.... Haven't been back here for over a year.

Thanks,

I'm sure they're getting a nasty phone call right about now.

Oh, great. Encore mis-named the new version we are doing for them. It should be 2.5, not 3.0.

This version is simply MA, MA Time, MA Logo, and MA Multi-Display all in one package.

Yes, the release is no big deal for Forum members. It's really just to give Encore something new to fill the shelves in stores until a major new revision comes out.

I assume that Prolific will have your purchase details. In the past, previous customers have been able to download newer versions as long as their email address matches the one they used when ordering. For those who only bought one of these versions and now want all of them in one package, there will be some kind of low-cost upgrade.

A sensible name for this product is "SereneScreen Marine Aquarium Superpak"

Calling it 2.5 breaks all the rules of version numbering and marketing.

Just wanted to ask how you are doing. Not trying to get an update on the Aquarium or anything, it's just been about a year since was on the boards and wanted to say hi.

My friends are still amazed when they see the aquarium. I am using the Time version right now and they all think the crystal looks great.

Anyway, hope all is well.....

Yeah, things are made a little more difficult unfortunatly, changed email addresses, postal addresses, card numbers. But my name is still the same, so I need to check out any kind of references etc. but I do know I bought it just as 2.x was released, so that is a starting point.

Wow, only 15 days 'till it ships. I can't wait to see it! I wonder how I ended up doing that pesky 3D background.

Jim, you must have invented a time machine in your spare time and came back and released it for yourself.

I have kept my mouth shut because I didn't want to appear stupid, but what the heck are y'all talking about? I search back through the thread and can’t find anything.
