Does Marine Aquarium patch system files?
I ask this because upon the installation of SereneScreen marine aquarium my DirectX has been corrupted Uninstallation does not change a thing.
I have been able to restore DirectX to (somewhat) full functionality after a system restore but this was very disturbing and I would like to know what happened. |

Which version of SereneScreen Marine Aquarium did you install? Did you install it from a CD or from the website?
If you installed it from the CD, I believe it offers to install DirectX 7.1 if you are running Windows 98, 2000, or another OS that doesn't have a recent version of DirectX. RBQ8, interesting e-mail address btw.

No, the Aquarium doesn't change any files on the computer. It just makes a small Registry entry to save your preferences.
