??Blue Rocks??

Hello all!

I'm new to these forums and I absolutely LOVE my new Goldfish and Marine Aquariums! I purchased the package that included both programs at my local Best Buy store and I have a question about the settings... Some of the computers on display at the store were set to the Goldfish Aquarium screensavers on the large clear tank, but the rocks were BLUE (like in the Zen Bowl), not brown! No one at the store could tell me how it was done, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this and if so, how you changed it. I really, really want the BLUE rocks...please help!! Thanks!

The only official way to get the blue gravel background is to buy Windows Media Center Edition.

Mr. Mongoose (can I call you "Liquid"?)...

I'm the artist for Goldfish Aquarium, and I made that blue rock tank especially for Microsoft's Windows Media Center Edition. But a lot of people have felt the way you do, and so there is a chance we may include a similar tank in a future version of the program.

Until then, Feldon30's right; you'd have to buy Windows MCE.

Sorry!

Not true. With some simple hex editing the screen saver will work on normal XP. I'll post it if its ok

If you open the Aquarium, or indeed any program, in a text editor like Notepad, Wordpad, etc. it will look like what you see below. If you know EXACTLY what you are doing, you can change some of that gobbledygook and change how the program works.

Pat,
Ever tried Google
Thanks to Morgan, Tiny Snapshots is up and running again with "Tiny Jrvaflt" as the latest addition Go have a look and tell me what you think.

"We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.'
I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.

Thats not HEX editing, you need a hex editing program to do it. Google is your friend!

I think Microsoft might mind.

Since this is the official forum, we kind of disapprove of hacks and editing.
