Embarassed Lion Fish idea

Here is an idea. I lovce lion fish and have never had a tank with out one and only had one perminint resident of the fish tank killed by it's poison. Needless to say it was an accident the fish swam over him and didn't realize he was there, went to swim down and swam right into his spines then jumped out of the tank and died in about 10 seconds. But no I don't want it killing my other fish.

My idea is feeding. I always fed my LF live gold fish and maybe in the future you could incorporate an option that would alow a feeder gold fish to come out of the side of the tank and have the LF corner it with it's fins and eat it. Just thought this would be cool for people who have never actually seen it before I had some jappanese forighen exchange student have a heat attack when he thought the LF was eating my other fish lol.

Anyway thanks for all your superb work I love fish and i love your screen saver

Would be cool but I'm guessing it is outside the "serene" in SereneScreen.

On the other hand I think Jim said some kind of feeding will eventually be included. And glass tapping too.

Feeding and taping on the glass is coming in the future according to Jim. If that will include eating live fish or not, I haven't heard.

Just thought I should mention to you that goldfish and any other kind of freshwater live fish lack certain lipids and fatty acids that lionfish require for perfect health. Its ok to feed the occasional goldfish/guppy/molly, but if you insist on feeding live fish, toss in a damsel once or twice a week, your lionfish will thank you for it.

Unhappy

I think it sucks when people use live animals as food. Just because it happens in nature does not mean we should do it in our homes. Only sickos would get pleasure out of it.
Well, that is my opinion.

How are you going to run a fishtank without doing that?

All the fish in SS Aquarium feed off live coral or brineshrimp.

P.S. I have my steaks medium rare.

Some animals will not feed on anything but live prey. Try to feed them dead food and they will starve.

Besides, no one in the thread said anything about getting pleasure out of it.

Just for the record, when I do add the feeding feature to the Aquarium, it will just be flake food. The fish that need live food will have to get by as best they can, off-camera
