An icon should have been created when you installed it. Did you click "Create Desktop Icon"?

This is caused by an Anti-Virus program interferring with the install.

Disable your Anti-Virus and you will not see this problem.

Do you have Autocad installed?

Perhaps it's how you created the desktop icon. Could you describe how you did that?

Well, it's possible to solve this problem manually: Go to your WinXP folder (usually C:\WINDOWS) then open the folder 'system32'. Find the aquarium.scr file there and copy and paste it (or paste it as a shortcut) on your desktop.

OK, that looks about the same on my XP (but in Swedish of course). What happens when you click on the Aquarium.scr file in the System32 folder. Also, what happens if you do the same with the other screen savers?

Ok. Wish I knew why Windows XP is doing this on 1 out of 1,000 computers. The "SCR" file type has lost its blessing as a Screen Saver file.

We do have an automated fix for this problem!

Please download this script and double-click on it:

https://www.feldoncentral.com/Sachs/SSRestre.reg

Please let us know if you have any further problems. You may need to restart your computer after running this script for it to take full effectiveness.

I've got a forum post here, but it's not on the Frequently Asked Questions list. I'll add it...
