Question 0.99.9 posted to SereneScreen

This build fixes the drop dead date problem in a previous version.

It reduces dependencies on extensions which could cause the keycode to not be saved correctly under certain circumstances.

It is recommended that everyone get this new build.

does this beta expire on Oct 1?..I've been running this (paid) since the new beta came out, everything is great. Then, on Oct 1, when I turn the computer on, with the screensaver to launch at start-up, it freezes the computer by not allowing any programs to work. If I remove it from Start-Up, the computer boots fine. I haven't changed any settings or added any new programs in the last couple of weeks, and it has been working fine, so the only thing I can think is that there is a problem with the beta and Oct 1...any suggestions, Jim?

another note...it seems like the screensaver just hangs on launching, whether it is set to launch on start-up or when you just launch it after the computer has booted...it just hangs and you cannot even force quit it....do you think this is a problem with me or the Aquarium?...like I said, everything was working fine until this morning, Oct 1....thnx

I was using beta 0.99.9, I didn't know there was a new version. I trashed the old one and downloaded 1.1, which works, except for the key controls, none of the key shortcuts work.

The shortcut keys do not use the command key. If you try to use the command key with them then they won't work.

There isn't a drop dead date in the current build.

1/2 of me wishes there was no effort being expended on an OS 9 version.

Development time spent on the Mac OS 9 version does not detract from the Mac OS X version, nor does it detract from the Windows version or development of the Aquarium as a whole.
