What would you want to change it to?

Jav400,
In your recent post, you note that those with between 100-250 posts may use the Regal Angel. The Regal Angel is not one of the fish found at your website at either of the URLs below:

https://www.feldoncentral.com/forums...on=showavatars
https://www.feldoncentral.com/forums...ion=editavatar

Since you suddenly have lots of folks in the 100-250 range, would it be possible for you to add the Regal Angel?

Many thanks,
Arnold

P.S. Not sure what I did earlier today. I used to be a Yellow Tang. Now I am an Addis Butterfly.

Not sure really. Maybe: Handsome UK male seeks wealthy blonde...
Only joking of course :-) It wouldn't all fit!

I somehow managed to get Wimplefish under mine at one point in time.

Morgan or I have on "special request" changed a few to custom titles for a few users that have been here for quite some time and helped out on the forum.

asprague changed his picture, so I changed his name, then he changed his picture back.

A forum moderator's job is never done.

Lightfeather, so what would you like your new name to be? Anime Gal?

I'm having problems with white lines streaking up where the bubbles are. I am getting some bubble though, any suggestions. I have a Trident Blade 3D mvp4 V chip. I also upgraded my Direct X 7.0 to 8.1.

Compatibility with 8 megabyte video cards at 1024x768 seems to have been scratched off the list.

Uhh, the bubbles again. How about a poll: Is your bubble column ok? Just joking. ;-)

Marilyn -

For now, 8 meg cards don't quite have enough memory to support the bubbles. I'm looking into different memory allocation schemes which might help this situation, but in the mean time you could turn off the bubbles in the Settings, or use a lower resolution. If my memory experiments are successful, they would be included in a free update.

I got "Yellow Duck" under mine the day I uploaded my new avatar, and I hadn't even been around very long at that point. I still haven't really. I like it though.

After reading Jim's last post I tried running the SS in all the lower resolutions from my normal which is 1152x864, just as a test to see if I got back a proper/working bubble column. I went right down to 640x480 and it still didn't spring to life! I'm one of those using an 8Meg card. Poor old me! I also tried it in ‘Desktop Resolution’ under the control panel and noticed that although the screen resolution was the same as my Desktop the refresh rate was different, lower. My monitor normally refreshes at 90Hz, but I was only getting 75Hz when running the SS in desktop resolution from the control panel. Why is this Jim? Any ideas? Not a major problem, just interested to know if there's an answer…

BTW, Jim, and I quote "I'm looking into different memory allocation schemes which might help this situation, but in the mean time you could turn off the bubbles in the Settings, or use a lower resolution. If my memory experiments are successful, they would be included in a free update."

Sounds great! Keep up all the good work, but don’t let this take up too much of your valuable time. I do really need to get a better GFX card. Which I will do soon…
