That's the whole point of this. Putting a stable 3.1 in an installer up on SereneScreen.com.

I probably could have asked the question better.

I was asking if the change was "synced" in time to be included in 3.1 or has Edgar already passed the point of adding changes to 3.1 before it is released at Serenscreen.com

Just go get it and try it out. If enough people are satisfied that we've tried to fix the double-click taskbar issue (which may not be possible), then we'll make it the official download.

Yea!!! It's all fixed! Excellent job Jim. Very quickly too. I can't seem to find anything wrong with it.

Fish lists

A few of the posts about resolving the bug mention lists which could be enjoyable, including fish from various oceans and those with behaviors which would be appropriate in a community tank.

I think that another good criterion would be fish likely to school in certain numbers, such as a species usually seen in groups of approximately 6, say.

If someone prepared such lists and were able to post them for downloading, I'd use them. Is there a way to provide such a list in a file which could be downloaded and installed?

Thanks.

The fish list is stored in the Registry, and is not accessable for editing except within the program. But if someone were to give suggestions on which fish would go with which, it would just take a minute to create your own lists.

It is easy enough to create lists of different oceans as Jim has included that information in the fish settings menu. When you click on a particular fish it not only displays the fish name but also the oceans it is found in, it's diet and it's size.

Some fish are found in several oceans. For example all the fish in the Indian Ocean are also listed in the Pacific Ocean.

I have 13 fish in an Indian Ocean set, and 8 in a Pacific Only set. Also a Pacific set that combines the two for 21 different fish. The Red Sea also overlaps a lot. I have 10 in a Red Sea set. There only seems to be four for an Atlantic set so I put in two of each.

It is easy to browse through the fish descriptions in the fish settings menu and decide what you want to include in a particular set. Also it is interesting to gradually learn more about different fish.

Here is a list of the fish found in some of the main oceans. Some of the fish occur in 2 or more oceans. This is a very good way to group fish as they occur naturaly together and live in the same environment.

Pacific Ocean (21 fish + 1 Starfish)

CopperBand Butterflyfish
Powder Blue Tang
Yellow Tang
Clown Triggerfish
Picasso Triggerfish
Threadfin Butterflyfish
Forceps Fish
Blue Damselfish
Squarespot Anthias
Percula Clownfish
Flame Angelfish
Three-stripe Damselfish
Regal Tang
Koran Angelfish
Regal Angelfish
Redfin Butterflyfish
Blue Ring Angelfish
Longfin Bannerfish
Emperor Angelfish
Clearfin Lionfish
Volitans Lionfish
Ochre Starfish

Indian Ocean (13 fish)

Clown TriggerFish
Picasso Triggerfish
Threadfin Butterflyfish
Forceps Fish
Blue Damselfish
Flame Angelfish
Three-stripe Damselfish
Regal Tang
Koran Angelfish
Blue Ring Angelfish
Longfin Bannerfish
Clearfin Lionfish
Volitans Lionfish

Red Sea (10 fish)

Clown TriggerFish
Picasso Triggerfish
Threadfin Butterflyfish
Purple Tang
Addis Butterflyfish
Three-stripe Damselfish
Koran Angelfish
Regal Angelfish
Longfin Bannerfish
Emperor Angelfish

Atlantic Ocean (4 fish)

French Angelfish
Queen Angelfish
Royal Gramma
Rock Beauty Angelfish

There are a few other areas with one fish in them. You can try makeing other groups as well. Also you can research in depth on the internet to find other potential groupings such as fish schooling behavior or fish that get along together for community tanks.
